About this site
AI Video Generator reviews AI video generators by running the same three tasks on every tool and reporting what came out. The scores are comparative, not absolute — they say which tool did the job better, not which is objectively good.
How this site makes money
Affiliate commissions. When you sign up for some of the tools reviewed here — includingShorz — this site is paid a share. That is disclosed at the top of every page that carries such a link, and every affiliate link is markedrel="sponsored" in the page source.
The obvious question is whether that buys favourable coverage. Three things are in place so that it doesn't, and all three are checkable rather than promises:
- Every tool runs the same three tasks, and the outputs are what get scored.
- Every verdict names who the tool is wrong for. A review that cannot finish the sentence "skip this if…" hasn't been written properly.
- Paying vendors lose comparisons here. Shorz loses the pure-clipping comparison to OpusClip, because that is what the testing showed.
Who writes it
Reviews are published under the publication's name rather than a personal byline. There is no invented reviewer persona — a common and quietly dishonest device on affiliate sites — and the schema markup on each page names the publication as the author, which is simply what is true.
Corrections
Pricing and features in this category change monthly. If something here is out of date or wrong, it should be corrected rather than left — pages carry a published and a last-updated date so you can see how stale a given review is.
